It's the responsibility of all artists to keep the public, particularly in their own communities, informed about themselves and their work. They need to show that as professional artists they are making a worthwhile contribution to society. By doing so, they ensure that other creative people, especially youth, feel appreciated and inspired to explore their own artistic mediums and to challenge themselves.
